24/07/12 Mappleton Beach

Went with some friends to Mappleton beach - didn't realise at the time but a few days earlier a landslide had unearthed over a thousand(!) shells from WW2 and so the MOD were carrying out controlled explosions. Of course not knowing this, and upon hearing the explosions and seeing huge plumes of smoke we scarpered pretty sharpish. Anyhow here are a few sketches I did before the booms started...
